Pregnancy - The whole 10 months!

No one tells you that pregnancy is really about 10 months...40 weeks, at 4 weeks per month = 10 months!
Anyway, we are in the home stretch with just 3 weeks 2 days and 8 hours (no one is counting!) until our due date and I thought we should share some of the highlights of the last 9 (10!!) months.

We found out we were pregnant in the middle of March, as we headed up to go skiing; so far Bean Jensen (the little guy baking inside my belly) has been skiing about 6 times. Tried to make the most of our final 'no-kids' ski season although we are both looking forward to teaching him how to ski (or snowboard if Brian gets his way).
Bean has also been quite the traveler, he has made trips to New York City, Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, Pittsburg, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Hurley, Aruba and Sioux Falls. Most of the trips were for work, Bean was a great partner, but we had a few trips that were just for fun!
Hurley's 125th Anniversary - South Dakota

Our 3 year Anniversary - Aruba!

Bean has also been backpacking, camping (not very comfortable), mountain biking and swimming. He is also planning to have a great costume for Halloween, but you will have to tune back in to see a photo of that.
I am getting pretty big but hear that I will probably really get huge in these last few weeks! This photo was taken about a week ago and I have already seen a change. Most of the maternity shirts are getting a little too short and I am looking forward to wearing some regular clothing!
We still have a few more plans for Bean before he is born. We will take him to his second college football game on Nov. 8th (Air Force vs. CSU) and take him out to dinner for Brian's 29th Birthday.

5 Weeks & Counting!

As of today we are 5 weeks away from our due date and for all intents and purposes we are ready...well as ready as we can ever really be.
We have the nursery set up, are finishing up our child birth classes (see Brian in his 40lb sympathy belly!), Brian has taken 'Daddy Boot Camp', we toured the hospital and went to a 'Breastfeeding' class. We possibly overdoing the preparation but both like the feeling of having done all we can.

Brian has even installed a baby gate at the top of the stairs although we know that wont be used for awhile.

Now that preparation is complete we are just enjoying each others company and trying to keep my mind off how I am getting physically more uncomfortable every day. It is a beautiful fall here so we are keeping up with the walks.

Baby Bean has been moving around a lot, making my stomach look like something from the movie Alien, and has taken to having mini-shoving wars with his Daddy. Very cute.
Bean is also really excited because in addition to his one amazing cousin LanaBella he is getting another little girl cousin in March!

Thanks to Grandma-Deb Bean is all set up with some very cozy newborn outfits, and has quite the extensive Broncos wardrobe! And thanks to Nana-Jane in Australia Bean has his very own UGGS.

The good news is that it is the perfect time of year to be massive. It is nice and cool outside yet not snowing. It is also great for all the great maternity sweaters we got from Cousin Lisa!
Here we go...ready - set - wait!!

PS - We have officially decided on a name. Bean Jensen... Just kidding! We are actually getting close (although we do change our minds quite a bit) but we are narrowing it down. In all honesty I dont think we will decide until the little guy makes his appearance so stay tuned.
