This is how I talk and kick my legs...

8 Weeks!

On his 8 week birthday Turner and Annie took the trip up to Broomfield to have lunch with some of Brian's co-workers. Turner was very well behaved and wore shoes for the first time!

At 8 weeks he smiles a ton, seems on the verge of laughing, and can hold is head up for more than just a few seconds (impressive feat considering how large his head is!).

Moose and Minni have decided that the little guy is officially part of their 'Pack' and have started to expect that he play fetch with them. When Turner is having tummy time Moose will bring over a toy and drop it by Turner's hands expecting that it get thrown. I keep trying to explain to Moose that we may have a few years before this actually happens, but Moose keeps trying in hopes that Turner will one day throw it for him. Very cute.

We have started to trust the little guy with his own hands (on occasion) as he can now get them in his mouth and likes to suck his fingers. We do see him poking his eyes and the eye-scratch trip to the ER is still fresh in our memories so you mostly see Turner in mittens.

He has moved into his own room (actually at 6 weeks) and can - on occasion - sleep for 5 hours straight. More often however he sleeps in 2 hour spurts... and it is like lottery every night when we go to bed wondering if he will do 5 hours. Will we get lucky tonight? Will Annie be up just once or 5 times?? (there is no in-between).

On the cell, watching the playoffs.

I was watching the playoffs today with my Dad. We did a family play-off bracket, and I think I am going to win. In fact I had to make a few calls to some experts to make sure my picks were up to par after a devastating loss in the college pick-em. At least my dad is doing pretty good on the Rosazza pick-em... go dad (Mom and I are not doing so good).

So now on to professional football, in this photo I was watching the Atlanta/ Arizona game and while both my Mom and Dad picked the Falcons I picked Arizona...and won.

So far in the Jensie bracket... Bean = 15 / Parents = O.

Turner's Bath Time

Turner seems to love baths, now that we are out of the sponge-bath phase. He likes to get in the warm water and is very calm in the bath. In fact he also seems to love having his diaper changed (maybe he just loves being naked!). Either way both the bath and the changing table are a good way to get him to stop fussing, which he does quite a lot :). Since no one probably wants to see pictures of Turner on the changing table - we wanted to share a few bath time photos of our spirited little guy.

P.S. No pooping in the tub yet! Maybe we got that over with by having it happen the first time.

First 'all the way in' bath. Looking for confort on mom's shoulder.

After bath - Bean's hair goes crazy!

Bean in the tub...a little frog.
