Last night Turner got his first bath, well actually sponge bath. The idea was to keep him covered and uncover one little part at a time - sponge it off - and then cover it back up.He was not very amused with the whole procedure so we made it go as quickly as possible.
After we were all done we wrapped him in a very cute frogger towel to warm him up. He was still pretty unhappy so we gave him a snack. He was feeding, warm, much happier and us being new parents we had not put a diaper on him (hey he had just peed!) and who remembers diapers anyway when you are trying to calm down a new baby. Of course you can guess what happened next. It was a loud explosion and a big fart and poop all over the nice froggy towel - and worse all over Bean!
What a mess...
In good new parents fashion we had gave our son a bath only to have him end up MUCH dirtier than when we started - not to mention much more upset.
Turner, please be patient with us. We love you so much (more than we could have ever imagined) and are tyring hard... we will figure it out and hope for a better bathing experience next time.

Y'all are adorable! Congratulations on your BEAUTIFUL bundle of joy. Believe me, I see a lot of babies and yours is especially handsome. :)
